Bohan Online is a Chinese-Polish and Polish-Chinese online dictionary with user interface available in three languages. Except for the main Bohan dictionary there are two more dictionaries available i.e. Chengyu Dictionary and Silesia Dictionary, where you can separately search for chengyu (成语), and Silesian vocabulary. Bohan Online Dictionary and other Bohan projects/products are intended for people learning Chinese, teaching Chinese and working with Polish and Chinese. Vocabulary volume and translation quality is updated and verified on everyday basis, example sentences and collocations are added, in order to make our dictionary an efficient and user friendly linguistic tool. - What does the name Bohan stand for?
The name Bohan comes from two key Chinese characters related to the project i.e. 波 (波兰语 Bōlányǔ - Polish) and 汉 (汉语 Hànyǔ - Chinese). - What is the price of Bohan?
Bohan Online Dictionary is free of charge and it will always stay this way. The dictionary creation process generates, however, substantial expenses (hours of work of Bohan Team members, cost of servers, domains etc.), therefore there is a possibility to support Bohan with financial donation, work input or advertisement. We also recommend shopping at Bohan Store and using our other services, 10% of the income from these services (in accordance with the agreement among individual Bohan departments) is allowed for the development and maintenance of Bohand Dictionary. - A short history of Project Bohan.
